Hey whats up! Its adam again this time from study hall!!! AHHH! so we had three shows last weekend. we'd like to thank all of those who came out to liquid blue on friday to see us. DONT PAT YOURSELF ON THE FUCKING BACK WE KNOW YOU WERENT THERE. beacuse NO ONE was there. yup. thats right. we played for zero people. well...we played for glenn who is the man. he's in haven't talked since who played that night too. the rest of his band split though after they finished. not cool. but liquid blue has an awesome stage. like the best on we've played on. its cool. but yea to sum it up, fuck 21+ shows. fuck em.  ...but the show on saturday with headstart and others was awesome. there were tons of people for that and somehow we managed to get people to like us. AWESOME. sunday was cool too. although there wasn't that great of a turnout because it was mothers day and a sunday and it was 8 bucks. but the vapids are a really awesome band and the guts ripped it up as usual. check both of their bands out at www.thegutsrock.com and www.thevapids.com ...i think thats the vapids one.`we had a photo shoot on tuesday with this awesome dude from bates college named stu. we'll probably have the pictures back on friday and then you can all drool over our emo hottness.  lost city angels show this saturday at the edge...as long as it doesn't get snowed out. thenw e have a show on tuesday in portsmouth...our first out of state show!!! landmark. landmark. come and then we can go eat at the friendly toast. awesome@!!!!! alright this is the longest news update ever. one more thing though...this may be the last news update before we get our NEW WEBSITE!!! ben from every forty seconds is designing it so its guarenteed to ROCK. alright. keep it real. you know i do.

wow. its been a good month since a news update. adam must be whackin off to kurt cobain again... hmm. so we were able to play some awesome awesome shows in april. they rocked alot. and there are some nice photos of them at http://www.purevolume.com/theleftovers/photos so check that shit out fools. Turns out , we won somthing in the rockoff... yes, thats right, we tied 2nd place with Carmine on songwritting. well, thats just cuz we steal everything from the beatles. BITCH. so yeah May 8th... we are back in Auburn for a big rock show, which should be awesome, go to that, BUT, we also have a show on May 9th at the Alehouse with THE GUTS AND THE VAPIDS along with some other great bands. hah run on sentance? anyway, you should seriously please attend the May 9th, cuz The Vapids are from Canada and if nobody is there to see them, they will cry, and we wont get money for burgers after. so go. --kurt

Alright. So we lost the rockoff. We didn't even make it to the top 5. OOF. ANYWAYS. We have some kick ass shows lined uo over the next few months.  We have on this wednesday at the big easy with everyfortyseconds and more. GO TO IT IT WILL RULE. we're playing a house party in fri the 9th. Next wednesday we will be making leftovers history as we play TWO shows in ONE NIGHT!! we'll be in westbrook at the sacarappa lodge with DTK and another band from baltimore, then we'll scoot on over to the portland high auditorium where we'll play a few songs at the John Fords Variety show to raise money for the John Fords Scholarship which I (ADAM) will be getting! YAY. We're writing some new songs and need money to record them...so send some money donations to us. AWESOME. AND BUY OUR CD AT BULLMOOSE. PLEASE. We had the number 4 selling local cd at bullmoose last week and we want to stay on that chart...but to do that you have to BUY OUR CDS.

CD release party was last night! It was a pretty good show. There was a good turnout and it was a goodtime...except that it cost 3 bucks for a soda. We sold a bunch of cds...get yours at bullmoose music NOW.  we were featured in the monday magazine of the portland press herald today! ALRIGHT. We have the rock off coming up this weekend...i hope we can win so we get some money. money is good.  Make sure you remember to pick up our cd...it will be awesome. we have a ton of shows coming up in april and may...and we guarentee that they will rock. alright? alright.

We had a show last night in Sanford. IT ROCKED. The people were awesome and ricky crackers threw up. awesome. we currently have a bunch of promos circulating around in bull moose and various other stores. they're free so take one! and everyone be sure to come to the cd release show THIS SUNDAY at the alehouse. good times will be had by all.

Yea...we just got home from the Jeremiah Freed show. It was alright. BUT friday was soooo much awesomer.  We played with the Guts. We are all gald we got back to portland in one peice. we (the leftovers) have played 3 shows in december and have had one postponed! YA! the shows were rockin. we also unleashed the Paper+Scissors=ROCK demo 2003. we are going into BIG SOUND recording studio on January 4 to record some rockin songs.  we will then release the Paper+Scissors=ROCK ep sometime soon. our catch 22 show was cancelled or "delayed" yet again cause catch 22 can't make it on the 3rd. we'll keep you posted...right now it looks as if it could happen on feb 13...but that's ways away.  if anyone wants to buy a cd or to get one for free or wants to buy a button for 50 cent or a t shit for like 6 bucks...email us at leftoversband@hotmail.com . we'll have mp3s up as soon as we figure out how.  ben from every forty seconds is constructing a website for us to replace this tub of poo.  we took some pictures of ourselves...and those will be up on the new website. kurt is away all of christmas vacation, so no shows for the next couple weeks. but rock! yup.
